Deborah Mungai, reigning Miss Africa Great Britain 2024, was honoured during a special visit to Nyandarua County in Central Kenya, where she was officially hosted by the Governor, Dr. Moses N. Badilisha Kiarie.
The visit took place during celebrations recognising Kenya's national heroes and provided an opportunity to highlight the important contribution that young leaders and cultural ambassadors make within their communities.
During the visit, Deborah spoke about the importance of inspiring young people to pursue their ambitions while remaining proud of their African heritage. She also discussed the role that pageantry can play in promoting leadership, education and community service.
The occasion also showcased the beauty and tourism opportunities within Nyandarua County, encouraging greater cultural exchange between the United Kingdom and Kenya while celebrating African excellence on an international stage.
As Miss Africa Great Britain, Deborah continues to use her platform to encourage youth empowerment, promote charitable initiatives and represent African women with dignity, confidence and purpose.
