2011 Queen Ruvimbo Chinzou's Zimbabwe Lockdown Initiative

Published • 10 April 2020

Former Miss Africa Great Britain 2011, Ruvimbo Chinzou, continued her commitment to community service by supporting vulnerable families in Zimbabwe during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Through her charitable organisation, Inflame the Dream, Ruvimbo partnered with community organisations to provide food packs and practical assistance to families affected by the national lockdown.

Inflame the Dream was founded to empower young people, encourage leadership and help communities through education, mentoring and humanitarian support. During the pandemic, the organisation worked with local partners to ensure that food reached those most in need.

The initiative demonstrated the lasting impact of the Miss Africa Great Britain platform, showing that former queens continue to use their influence long after their reigns to improve the lives of others through meaningful charitable work.

Miss Africa Great Britain is proud of Ruvimbo Chinzou's dedication to serving her community and applauds the efforts of everyone involved in supporting vulnerable families during this challenging period.
