Leila Samati, proudly representing Guinea Bissau, was crowned Miss Africa Great Britain 2018 following a spectacular Grand Finale held in London.
Throughout the competition, Leila impressed the judges with her confidence, elegance, intelligence and passion for serving her community. Her outstanding performances during each stage of the competition earned her the prestigious Miss Africa Great Britain crown.
The Grand Finale brought together talented contestants from across England, Scotland and Wales, each proudly representing their African heritage while showcasing leadership, culture and personal achievement.
Following her crowning, Leila became an official ambassador for Miss Africa Great Britain. During her reign she represented the organisation at charity events, community programmes, cultural celebrations and official engagements both in the United Kingdom and internationally.
As part of the pageant's long-standing commitment to community service, Leila also supported charitable initiatives designed to improve lives and encourage young women to become confident leaders within their communities.
